Help! I am having problems placing my order, is there anything I can do?
Many of the pages on
our site have been updated. Please try "refreshing"
your browser (View/refresh), you can also check your browser
settings: In the menu bar at the top go to Tools, then Internet
Options, General tab click on settings, then make sure it is on
"automatically" then you will see our changes. If you
still find a bad link and have read and checked the items below,
please email us.
If you know you are placing a large order (or even if you are not it is a
good idea to do this weekly) then we suggest the following:
clearing out your web browsers cache on your
machine. Browsers collect images and information with the idea
they can load web pages faster. That works fine up to a certain
limit and then it spends more time searching and matching than
loading! It also ties up valuable resources needed to make the
system run faster. Go to Microsoft site and follow the instructions under
"Clear the Cache and
History " This
cleans up old unused pictures and information in temp web files.
I personally do this about once a month to clean out old cookies
and keep the browser and my computer running faster.
Your Microsoft Browser needs to be version 6.0 or greater, cipher strength 128 bit, due to current security reasons on our and other web secure servers. You can check your version by going to the "Help" button in the top of your Browser menu and then "about internet explorer" If necessary, go to:Internet Explorer Updates and for your own security check for Windows updates regularly to protect your computer. Due to our recent system upgrades, some customers using Internet Explorer may need to modify settings in their browser. Please make sure you have already have a cipher 128 bit strength, then download and follow their instructions IE Browser Info under the heading of "Change Internet Security to Medium" or easier just go to Tools at the top menu, then Internet Options, Security, then click on Default level.
or if you use Netscape

go to Edit/preferences/ advanced/cache and clear memory cache
and/or clear the hard disk memory of old web information too.
Also we have noticed that with big orders that take over an hour the server could have problems with time out software. We are continually introducing new order tables to make the order processing faster. Searches and catagoriey searches are the slowest options.
