Citrus Aurantium A Chinese herb also known as Zhi Shi or Bitter Orange, used as a thermogenic in Weight Loss formulas. An alternative to Ma Huang with no Ephedra.
Citrus Bioflavonoids Bioflavonoids, derived from Citrus, which are vitamin-like nutrients that enhance the absorption of Vitamin C.

CoEnzyme Q10 A free-radical destroyer that improves tissue oxygenation and cellular energy. Also called CoQ or CoQ10, it is best known as a heart helper.
Colostrum Collected from dairy cows during the first four days of milking after calving. supports immune function.
Comfrey Extract This plant is indigenous to Europe and temperate Asia and is naturalized in the U.S.
Commiphora Mukul Resin Extract An Ayurvedic (Indian) herb commonly known as Guggulipid, or Gum Gugul, which supports cholesterol health.
Common Ash Plant is distributed in most parts of Europe. May help with joint pain.
Conjugated Linoleic Acid Also called just CLA, this unsaturated fatty acid is thought to help reduce body fat. Safflower Oil is a good source of conjugated linoleic acid.
Copper A mineral necessary for oxidation and absorption of iron and vitamin C. Also acts in red blood cell formation.
Coptis This herb is a bitter tonic.
Cordyceps sinesus Cordyceps can be found in isolated places in southwestern China. It is a tonic that helps the body build strength and strengthen the immune system.
Corn Silk An herb that helps with the bladder and urinary tract.
Corvanthe Yohimbe The scientific name for the Yohimbe herb, a passion nutrient.
Cramp Bark Is used primarily to treat muscle cramps and spasms.
Cranberry A fruit which is good for the bladder and urinary tract and high in Vitamin C.
Crataegu Ocycantha The botanical name for the Hawthorne Berry herb.

Damiana Herb An herb in which the leaves are used as an energizer and aphrodisiac.
Dandelion Root An herb which helps to cleanse the blood stream and improve the function of the kidneys, pancreas, spleen, and stomach.
D-Calcium Pantothenate A form of Vitamin B-5.
Deacetylated Chitosan Chitosan is a fat-binding nutrient made from the chitin, or shells, of shellfish. One cannot just eat the shells and receive this fat-binding benefit. The process of breaking down the shell into a nutrient the body can take in and that will bind to dietary fat is called deacetylation.
Dehydroepiandrosterone The long name for DHEA, a hormone used for immune support and longevity.
Deodorized Garlic An herb with most of the odor removed. Garlic helps to detoxify the body, enhance the immune system, support cholesterol health, and improve the blood circulation.

DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) A hormone used for immune support and longevity.
Diastase (malt) A digestive enzyme derived from malt, which is a plant source.
Dimorphandra Mollis The botanical name for the bioflavonoid Rutin.
Disintegrants Disintegrants are ingredients used in tablet manufacturing to ensure that when a tablet is swallowed, it breaks down in the stomach quickly into its fine powder form. Rapid disintegration is a necessary first step in ensuring that the nutrients are fully released are bioavailable and readily absorbed.

Equisetum Arvense Botanical name for Horsetail, a natural source of Silica, often used in vein, nail, skin and hair formulas
Escin The active compound in the Horse Chestnut herb, used to support leg vein and circulatory health.
Essential Fatty Acids You have 20 different fatty acids in your body, but they're all made from just two: linoleic acid (also known as Omega-6) and linolenic acid (Omega-3). These are essential acids, which means your body must have them for good health. However, your body doesn't make them, and so you must get them from your diet.
Ester-C Calcium Ascorbate Ester-C is a brand name of calcium ascorbate, a claimed more absorbable form of Vitamin C.

Evening Primrose Oil An herbal oil beneficial for PMS and Menopause.
Excipient Important ingredients in the manufacture of tablets, capsules and softgels that aid in characteristics such as hardness, disintegration time, dissolution time, swallowing ease, moisture content, anti-breakage, etc. Excipients help transupport key ingredients to the site in the body where they can be absorbed; prevent ingredients from being released too early; help the tablet or capsule disintegrate into particles small enough to reach the bloodstream quickly, and protect the product's stability so it will be at maximum effectiveness at the time of use.

Fat-Soluble Vitamins Vitamins that dissolve in fat and can be stored in your body's fatty tissues. Vitamins A, D, E, and K are fat-soluble.

Ferrous Fumarate A form of iron.
Feverfew This herb has a long history of use in traditional and folk medicine as a treatment for disorders often controlled by aspirin, such as fever and headaches.
Fiber Indigestible material in food.
Fillers Used in splement manufacturing to increase the volume of material in a tablet or capsule to ensure proper processing and potency. A Vitamin such as B-12 would be a tiny, hard to manufacture, hard-to-take tablet if the raw material were not mixed in with other natural compounds to give it more bulk. It also would be nearly impossible to ensure accurate potency of minute quantities of raw materials without dispersing them into a filler material.
Fish Oil A material from which many essential fatty acids are derived.
Flavoglycosides The active compound in Ginkgo Biloba extract, used to promote memory.
Flavone Glycosides The active compound in Ginkgo Biloba extract, used to promote memory.
Flavonoids Natural substances found in fruits and vegetables that give these foods their vibrant color and taste. Bioflavonoids are powerful antioxidants, and are also known as just flavonoids, and individually as anthocyanins, carotenoids, catechins and quercetin.
